April 24-26, 2026 at Global Village, 50 Moroney Rd, Grafton, MA
As ecological breakdown, systems collapse, and imminent fascism converge, land-based projects are emerging as a vital strategy for autonomy and resilience. Regional networks along the northeast are forming around systems of alternative food and energy production, cooperative enterprise, commoning, land back, and ecosocialism. This two and a half day event at Global Village Farms, 50 Moroney Rd, Grafton, MA brings together projects engaged in creating a solidarity economy that will nurture and defend human and more-than-human communities now and for the challenges to come.
The goals of the gathering are:
- BUILD: relationships between core organizations that can be depended on and built upon
- LEARN: from each other about how organizations/projects are approaching their work
- PLAN: concrete ways of working together and assessing what’s at stake
- CULTIVATE: movement consciousness around land decommodification through a Build & Fight analysis
The organizing committee and core group includes Cooperation Vermont, Cooperation Jackson, Land in Common in Maine, Building Solidarity Economies, Global Village / Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust.
