Farm to table meal and drinks, live music and awards.

Event is a fundraiser for Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust
The Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust (PPLT) is a tribally-led non-profit dedicated to reconnecting communities of American Indian tribes, clans, Urban Indians, and indigenous people across the Northeast. We embody an American Indian cosmology that holds Mother Earth and all living beings with deep reverence. As mindful caretakers of the land for all future generations, we teach our decedents to honor the connection to Earth, Sky, and to the Creator.

Saturday, October 19th, 2024

6pm – 10pm

at Global Village Farms, 50 Moroney Rd, Grafton, MA 01519

“The reason for today’s celebration / fundraiser is to honor the work we have done for the last 14 years. Chief George and UlumPixan had a plan to do what their hearts desired, with the intersection of culture, land and people. Here at Global Village after 14 years of dreaming to get to the land, 8 years of commitment to the land, and almost 4 years of our incorporation at the state label, this is a collective dream come true. When you dream in community the reality becomes a community with aligned vision. It is an honor and a privilege for our small but mighty team of 5 staff at Global Village to incorporate into the amazing Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust organization to complement each other and become stronger and serve widely the communities we love and are part of, with Chief’s leadership and indigenous values! We believe in emancipation and we believe our collective liberation depends on each other’s freedom.”

– Grandmother and Global Village Co-director, UlumPixan Athoh’il Zuk’il
